Below is the food that she ate yesterday. I baked some chicken nuggets, rice, and veggies.

Hot Lunch
I think my daughter got tired of the food that I prepare for her everyday so today she requested for her to eat hot lunch in school. It cost $2.50 for their hot lunch. She only brought her snack. Part of the reason I think is her classmates, who keep telling her to eat hot lunch in school. So we let her try and see if she likes it.

looks like a perfect lunch for my kids too! home-made lunch are always the best, it's filled with mom's love too!
my daughter had nuggets for her lunch.. di siya nagsasawa talga kaya lang wala veggies. :(. galing naman ni rye, hot lunch. sa ibang kids, gusto junk foods lagi.

My eldest daughter love chicken nuggets my youngest dont lol, but I hope they would eat veggies.
Mine are homeschooled now but when they went to school, I let them choose lunch a few times a month. It was expensive and super unhealthy so I didn't like it too much. This looks decent though. :-)
Rylie is being influenced by her friends in school. Although there is nothing wrong with hot lunch in school cafeterias, food prepared by you will always be superior because you are attentive to her basic nutritional needs. There is also a tendency for kids to buy trendy but malnutritional food at school. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
Actually Kuya, foods are being served everyday and they only have one set of menues everyday, di sila pwede ng bumili. It isn't like the one we have there in Pinas na pwede kang mamili, all students here who pay for hot lunch will get the same.
