Papaya - P365 # 123

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone happy children's day celebration to kids in Japan. Are you having any party today? We used to get invited to a Cinco de Mayo celebration when we were still in Korea.

Anyhow, back to my post. P is for Papaya, no, not an ABC post although it's appropriate for this week'as letter lol. Don't mind me, sometimes, I just type what comes to mind even if it doesn't make sense hahaha. Back to papaya, we buy this fruit once in a while. It's our form of detox especially when kids are having hard time going.. you know what I mean right.
The only problem of buying papaya here is the size, they are big and  I always end up eating all the left O's lol.
Again, one way of encouraging my Burritos to eat it is with the use of toothpick.
I love papaya especially the small sizes one because they are s really sweet.
I know that there are more benefits in eating papaya but I won't elaborate as  you might fall asleep lol.
May 5, 2011:

  • I flipped my  memo  book today and realized I missed my migraine appointment last  Tuesday, uh-oh.
  • Hubby mowed the grass today and  tore down the old rusty swing set at the backyard.
  • I am doing laundry right now and marinated some  pork ribs to be barbecued later at Dad's.  Hubby is planning on making some mashed potatoes and grilling the meat there for dinner.
  • Alrighty folks,  the  dryer is beeping and telling me to go downstairs lol.  Have a safe and fun day.

wow, delicious papaya. But I am avoiding it right now, since I am preparing for pregnancy. And the papain (enzyme present in papaya) can reduce the urge to you know (lol. By the way, you have lovely kids.

Here's my latest post.

Papayas are really sweet and nutritious too. They are full of vitamins A and C and are a good source of fiber that relieves constipation. You seem to have such a hectic schedule always. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

I love ripe papaya, too, especially the super sweet ones. Hmm, I haven't tried eating papaya with toothpick, though, but I would love to try. LOL! Here's my FTF entry: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2011/05/food-trip-friday-hyphys-at-the-veranda/
