I had this kind of dianthus last year but the construction team killed it. I wasn't able to salvage it. What I like about this dianthus is that, they come back every year and it spreads out the garden. According to the research I did online, this is called Fire Witch Dianthus.
Small butterflies love this kind of flowers.

- We visited my FIL, the kids played with the neighbors kids and I got to talk to their Mom as well.
- Hubby went to the store and got some things that we need for the Kennywood picnic.

- I can't believe that the month of May slipped by so quick. We were supposed to go to Kennnywood for the school's picnic but it is raining so we decided to postponed it to a later date. I am not sure if some will go there today.

Wonderful pictures!
How very beautiful..we have a flower (weed) bed in from of our home. It's honestly just miserable. Our lantana that is so hardy and has been there for years didn't survive the drought last year. Now all I have a two aloe type plants and two Mexican Feather Grasses. I think this beautiful pop of color is exactly what we need!!
Thank you for sharing! And Happy Pink Saturday!!
