I tried making beef stroganoff using the sauce mix that I bought. I modify the recipe a little bit. Instead of using sour cream, I used cream of mushroom because I also added some fresh chopped mushroom. I chopped a little bit of mint and sprinkled cayenne on top. It was delicious.

One of my favorite recipes. My friend Dawn lived in Haiti and gave me a similar recipe years ago! I use both cream of mushroom soup and sour cream! Looks delish!

Only ever had mushroom stroganoff. Spooky that the spell check is prompting me to change stroganoff to gastronome. Guess because yours is a gastronomic experience:-)
