NuNaturals Sweeteners

I received 13 different kinds of sweetener alternatives from NuNaturals to try and evaluate. As you can see in the photos, it's a variety of different  kinds and flavors.  Along with the products, they also included  a thick  printed materials to read to fully understand the benefits of using these natural sweeteners.  There are also a compilation of  recipes from different   cooking enthusiasts who  shared   their experience in using the products.

It took me a while to really sit down and read as I am not fond of reading soooo many bond papers  lol.  I  wish that they could have  printed it in a small leaflets for easy reading.  I got paper cuts scanning  the papers but it's okay.

Anyway, I tried the LoSweet on my coffee and it was a bit bitter.  My husband has been   trying some of the  Nustevia by  putting it in his  drinking water as he doesn't like drinking plain  ones.  This  helps him drink water now.

I also tried the non-bitter white stevia powder when I made the  Ginger Glazed chicken last week.  Instead of using brown sugar, I used the  white stevia powder instead.  Here's the recipe for the glaze.

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (I replaced it with  a pack of white stevia powder)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard  (I used yellow mustard)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder (I used the  ginger paste)
Making the glazed is easy, just combine all the above ingredients in a pan and  put it in a medium high heat stirring constantly until you  get the desired consistency or thickness of the glaze.

I seasoned the  chicken with the Chicago steak seasoning and grilled it.  When it is done, just pour over your glazed  to coat the chicken with it and it's delish!

Brocolli is  always a favorite   veggie side dish of my kids so we always have it when  eating  meat.

I haven't tried the Stevia  Baking Blend and the Tagatose but hopefully I could use this  during holidays.  Thank you so much  NuNaturals for sending out these natural sweeteners which is a healthier alternative.  This is  a healthier approach to cooking so if you want to try them, just contact  ron.redding@nunaturals.com .  NuNaturals  aims of helping to keep you well.

I actually just finished writing up my review of this--I did use the tagatose--it is amazing to bake with--and tell your hubby if he feels like a little carbonation- put a couple of drops of the cherry vanilla in plain seltzer!!

I use Stevia as sweetener, which I get from costco, I use it for cakes and almost everything, I love it. :) and it's plant based, natural, not like aspartame, etc

I've never tried any of these sweeteners. That chicken looks delicious!

I do not bake with anything but NuNaturals. Everyone says it is so expensive but when you realize you use a couple drops to a ton of sugar, the price balances out and it is so much better for you.

I got mine too in the mail and I tried using one of the natural sweeteners for my cookies. It tastes good and the one I used wasn't bitter. I haven't really use all of them so I am excited to try. We have been using Stevia actually since we read a Healthy Guide To Lifestyle book that my husband bought on Amazon.

I do not usually put sugar on my coffee, because of the fear with diabetes. I saw box of stevia sweetener in our office pantry, and tried it. It is not actually bad. It does not have an after-taste like the aspartame has.

It's good to use these sweeteners as a substitute to real sugars if and only if they don't have any adverse effect to health. If that's the case, i'll also recommend using these sweeteners, given the fact that it would lessen my worries about having diabetes... :)

I love your ginger glazed chicken mommy. I might want to try some of that some time. If I can find a store somewhere here that is selling NuNaturals, we will defnitely be buying more of the natural sweeteners especially I bake a lot. I have been using the different brand of Stevia, but NuNatural is a different from it.

I like the idea of putting the Nustevia into the drinking water. Same as your hubby, I'm not fond of drinking water, mas like ko yung may taste so this one is a good idea! Might try it also pero cguro with other prodcuts since I think wala pa dito sa Pinas itong Nustevia, unless cguro magpapadala sa mga relatives from US. Hehe. :)

It would be wonderful if we could have this kind of product here in our country. I would definitely try it if it was available here.

I tried their other sweetener too and added it to my coffee yesterday morning and just a little bit of the powder was enough to make my coffee sweet with some almond milk.
