I love trying different recipes. When I got married, my fear of cooking vanished. I used to not like cooking when I was single but all of that changed when I married my husband. I guess it has to do with the fact that I am no longer living by myself and that I need to prove to myself that I can get through with my fears. Now, I come to enjoy cooking in the kitchen. Anyway, enough of memory lane, sharing with you here is the Ihop Apple Porck Chop that me and my daughter made some time ago. This is actually from the original recipe, Maple Apple Pork Tenderloin from Uncle Ben's but we made our own version according to the products we have available.
- 1 lb. pork chops
- Diced Apple
- 2 tablespoon walnuts chopped
- Ihop Syrup
Procedure:
- Bake or grill pork chops
- In a small sauce pan, spray non-stick pan coating spray, and add diced apple. Cook over medium heat for ten minutes. Add walnuts and maple syrup and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand until pork is done.
- coat pork with mixture and serve with rice.
Tips: Greensmith, granny smith, or green apple is better to cook than the regular one, I just use the regular as it was the only available in my kitchen that time. This is really a delicious meal and it's very easy to prepare. The apple and the walnut is very appealing to kids so they loved it!

That looks so good! I think I'll have to come back and try this one myself.
My kids would love this, my husband does not like pork chops. I will still try this out, I love all the ingredients.
Awe! It is nice that your kids sure love to help you in the kitchen. Same goes with my two kids especially when baking. :) That looks like one good dish, but I would have to switch with chicken or turkey. Thanks for sharing, mommy!
Looks yummy, will try :)
Healthy meal for the whole family and at the same time quick meal on preparations.
I'd like to try this one mare. My little will surely like the meal too.
