Chocolate Cake #A-Spice-A-Day#24

My Burrito's Lolo and Lola here in the neighborhood are awesome.  They always makes us feel like their own family.  On  Mr. Burrito's birthday, she Lola Ruth knows that I don't like to bake so she bake Mr. Burrito a cake, thanks Nay (yes I call her Nanay)!

A Spice A Day #24

• I was dreading the bitter cold walk this morning going to school.  The school informed us that there would be two hour delay today but this morning, they called and informed us of the school's closing, so thank God.  The windchill outside is negative 15 so yeah, it's painful when you are out there.
• My  husband drove our daughter to her piano lessons.  He visited my FIL while  waiting for her.  We did not go because I have been feeling crappy  for four days now due to  cold.  He told me that  Dad told him that his late wife has been talking to him in his dreams and  he said that the other morning, he was dreaming of her again that she was cooking  breakfast for him and when he woke up, he could really smell the  potato cakes that she made.  He got and saw the potato cakes in the table.  The story gave me goosebumps.  
• I made a pot of macaroni salad again as requested.  For dinner , I made steak and mashed potatoes.
