After I cut my hair last Sunday, me and my daughter cooked breakfast together. She normally coked right away when she woke up but glad that she didn't that day, it gave us time to bond in the kitchen. Cooking with my daughter is fun. Hubby was inspired to take photos of us but the little Miss was not in the mood for photos.

- Our daughter has been stressing out every Monday. She is not liking her computer class as it is focused on "Think Thru Math". My daughter is really good in Math, what she doesn't like is the fact that in Think Thru Math, they have to figure out every problem by themselves. When she can't understand the instruction, she gets frustrated because the teacher does not explains or offer to help. It bothers me because she doesn't sleep weel during Sunday nights so as a result, she is cranky on Monday morning. Hubby is planning to talk to the teacher but we talked to our daughter first. We told her to toughen up and try her very best to figure things out. We will see.

Awww, I'm sure she'll get through it.She's a tough and smart kid.
I have to admire your daughter, even during elementary days, math hated me, I mean I hated math. But it's true, sometimes it's also because the teacher doesn't explain it carefully and it starts getting confusing :( I hope you were able to talk to her teacher!
I think it's great that you talked to your daughter first, and also going to bat for her with the teacher, however just a suggestion, but maybe you should encourage her to talk to the teacher before you talk to her. Make her ask for help, maybe even require her to get a letter from the teacher saying she asked and discussed her issues, If they learn young to ask for help and communicate with their teachers, then when they get in high school they won't be apprehensive when asking for help. It's discouraging when your child has the potential but not the support from the teacher, but it is their education and they need to learn to fight for it at young age and not be fearful of their teachers. If them talking to the teacher doesn't help then you should as the parent step in.. Just my two cents. :) Hate to see kids struggle with teachers..
I understand the frustration part on your kid, my son is the same. He doesn't like it when he is not in control of the situation. I try to comfort him and make him understand that failure sometimes is a part of life but what's important is to not give up, find a way and get through it. It is good that your husband is stepping in to help and resolve the issue. It is what us parents should do.
