Vegetable Soup #A-Spice-A-Day#36

I made a pot of vegetable soup for dinner  and  everyone in my abode loved it.  See, when I cook it's either HIT or MISS.  This time, hubby said I hit the home run and I was a happy  home chef lol.  I have  a few days old  potato buns that nobody wants to eat so I    cut them in half, buttered them, sprinkled some parsley  on top and baked it for ten minutes, it was  yummy too.  My son wanted more of the  potato buns but there is no more.

• The kids are off today due to severe weather condition.  Keeping them busy was a bit tough but we managed to have fun.
• I feel bad that  even on crappy weather day, my husband has to go to work.  I just wish that he can enjoy his retirement already but since we started our family a little bit late, he still have to get  a new job after retiring.  We're trying to save up for the kids college education so  he can at least retire for the second time a bit early.
