Sugar.. sugar.. sugar. We get sugar in a lot of things that we consume on a day to day basis. My husband and son are sweet fanatics, they both have sweet teeth. It may sound very controlling but I monitored their intake of sweets because I don't want them to have diabetes or something like that. Moderation is the key so it is not bad to eat sweets once in a while as long as you keep it in the right amount.
Anyway, during the kids end-of-the school-year party, the home room Moms brought some goodies to eat including sweets. My favorite part are the fruits.
There are veggie snacks too with dip.
The kids are so lucky because their homeroom Mom is a great pastry chef, she makes delicious cupcakes and cookies in every occasion. These cherry cupcakes were so good!
I love the one with coconut sprinkles.
I must admit, I could never top what they do because I am not creative when it comes to hosting party so I admire them for always bringing fun to the kids.
Our kids are always excited for the party because of the variety of food that they get to enjoy at the end of their classes.
Below are the yummy food that the 4th graders had during their end of the school year party. Their home room mom is awesome too!
We did a surprise baby shower party too for their teacher because she was due that summer.
One of the moms made these fun drinks to tie up with the baby shower theme.
And they too, had sweets. So the kids are pretty much sugared up at the end of the day.
I eat cupcake once in a while but I don't like frosting. My son's favorite part is the icing and sprinkles, I think most kids are like him. I am not sure if they will have end of the school year party this year since they have a different homeroom Mom (my son's class) but I am sure my daughter's class will do because they have the same homeroom Mom and she always organize it. Thanks Rose A., Amy M., and Marie M, for all that you do for our children. You guys rock!

Here we are not allowed to bring food into the schools (other than what the kids bring in for lunches). I wish our schools did stuff like this. I also wish we weren't going until June 26th this year.
Private schools rely on parents' support and volunteerism since they are not fully funded by the government with things so we do a lot for the kids.
Homemade treats aren’t allowed at school. They have be in a bage and wrapped. Bet the kids had a blast with all the goodies
This sounds like a fun party! I'm always glad when I see that schools still do this. So many don't, and it's a shame. I'm glad my daughter's school allows food to be brought in. I think my son's does as well, but he's in high school, so there's no year end parties there anymore.
This looks like a great party so many great sweet choices to choose from. I hope the kids had some fruit which looked so good before the cupcakes.
Oh wow what a fab looking party! I have to admit I would love to try one of those cupcakes they look absolutely delicious!
What a nice party for them with all the wonderful goodies! Everything looks so appetizing!
Those are some good treats to have at a party! I'd enjoy the fruits as well. I think the cherry cupcakes are quite nice too! They look so good.
Oh wow, this looks like fun. I bet the kids and the teacher really enjoyed that party. So many fun ideas.
Looks like such a fun time. That is a lot of sugar, even fruit is full of it but I would totally divulge in it all!
That fruit salad looks absolutely delicious! This party sounds like it was extra fun and extra special!
Oh wow you totally just made me hungry! I love party food! Veggie trays, meat and cheese trays, fruit!! YES! And indeed the occasional sweet treat too! We have to allow ourselves some pleasures.
I've been trying my best to avoid sugar but it's nice to get it from fruits. Also, who wouldn't want to treat themselves to cupcakes, those look really yummy!
That's so neat that you get to provide stuff at school that you've made. Our kids' school only allows store bought items. My husband has a sweet tooth too. I sure hope he doesn't end up with diabetes.
I have a sweet tooth as well although, like you I try and moderate my sugar intake! That fresh fruit looks soooo good to me!! YUM!!
That is a lot of sugar! But it looks like they had a fun celebration. The baby bottles are a funny idea - what did the kids think of those?
Wow, indeed such sugar overload for the kids! Hahaha! I wish this time I am also attending this year end party! Love everything excluding the baby bottles hahahaha!
These look like some great goodies! I especially love the baby bottle drinks, that is so cute!
This looks like such a fun event. The desserts look yummy! I try to monitor my families intake of sweets as well.
